1. About LawReach and Acceptance of Terms
1.1 LawReach Pty Ltd (ABN 27 693 897 862) ("LawReach", "we", "us", "our") operates the legal template store at lawreach.com.au ("Store").
1.2 LawReach is not a law firm. It does not provide legal advice and is not authorised to engage in legal practice under any applicable legal profession legislation in Australia.
1.3 LawReach Pty Ltd also operates LawReach AI (lawreach.ai), a separate AI-powered legal information platform, under the trading name LawReach AI. That platform is governed by separate terms and conditions. An account on lawreach.com.au is separate from and does not create an account on lawreach.ai, and vice versa.
1.4 By accessing or using this Store, or by purchasing any product from the Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Store.
1.5 By using the Site or purchasing products or Online Services, you warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a legally binding contract; (b) you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms; and (c) you will comply with these Terms. If you allow minor dependents to use our Services on devices you own or manage, you are responsible for their activity.
1.6 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LawReach with respect to your use of the Store and purchase of products. No statement in marketing materials, social media, or any other communication forms part of these Terms unless expressly incorporated in writing.
1A. Definitions
1A.1 In these Terms, "Site" and "Store" refer interchangeably to the website located at lawreach.com.au.
1A.2 "Online Services" means any digital services, tools, or functionality made available through the Site, including account creation, checkout, and digital product delivery.
1A.3 "Templates" means the digital document templates, policy documents, and legal information resources made available for purchase through the Site, and "product" or "products" has the same meaning.
Checkout Acknowledgement: At purchase, you agree that our Templates are general information only and do not constitute legal advice.
2. Nature of Products and Services: Critical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully before purchasing. Completing a purchase constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the limitations described below.
2.1 All products made available on this Store are:
• standardised legal document templates designed for general use;
• policy documents for general business use; or
• general legal information resources.
2.2 LawReach expressly does not:
• provide legal advice in connection with any product;
• review, tailor, or customise any document for your specific circumstances;
• act as your legal representative;
• consider your individual personal, business, regulatory, or legal circumstances;
• warrant that any template is current, complete, legally compliant, or appropriate for your jurisdiction, industry, or circumstances; or
• warrant that use of any template will produce a legally valid or enforceable outcome.
2.3 Templates on this Store may not reflect the most current state of the law. Laws and regulations vary between Australian states and territories and change over time. A template drafted for general use may not comply with the specific requirements applicable to your industry, business structure, or jurisdiction.
2.4 You expressly acknowledge that:
• you are solely responsible for determining whether any product is suitable for your needs and circumstances;
• you should obtain independent legal advice from a qualified Australian legal practitioner before using any template in a legally significant transaction or matter; and
• LawReach accepts no responsibility for any loss arising from your use of a template without obtaining independent legal advice.
2.5 You are responsible for: (a) reviewing each template before use; (b) ensuring the template is appropriate for your specific circumstances; (c) obtaining legal advice where necessary; and (d) ensuring any modifications you make to the template are legally sound.
2A. Platform Role and User Responsibility
2A.1 LawReach operates solely as a provider of general legal information, educational materials, and digital resources.
2A.2 LawReach does not: (a) provide personalised legal advice; (b) act as a legal practitioner for any user; (c) supervise or control how Templates or information are used; or (d) guarantee any legal, commercial, or personal outcome arising from use of the Site or Online Services.
2A.3 Users acknowledge that any reliance placed on information or Templates is undertaken at their own risk and responsibility.
2B. Information and Disclaimer
INFORMATION ON THIS SITE AND ALL LAWREACH PLATFORMS IS GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY - NOT LEGAL ADVICE
2B.1 All content made available by LawReach, including on this Site, social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and any other platform operated by or on behalf of LawReach), social media posts, captions, comments, reels, stories, videos, guides, webinars, podcasts, checklists, Templates, user guides, and any other materials or Online Services, is general information only. It does not constitute legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. You should consult a qualified lawyer for advice tailored to your circumstances.
2B.2 Nothing posted, published, shared, or communicated by LawReach on any social media platform or digital channel constitutes legal advice, regardless of how it is framed or presented. LawReach's social media content is for general informational and educational purposes only.
2B.3 The information provided does not account for your specific needs, objectives, or circumstances and is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or accounting advice.
2B.4 Purchasing Templates does not make LawReach your lawyer. All user guides, instructions, and Templates provided on the Site or via our resources or social media are for informational and educational purposes only. While we strive to keep Templates accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee they are free from errors or suitable for your specific circumstances. LawReach is not responsible for the use or effectiveness of Templates, and we do not review completed Templates.
2B.5 Templates are designed to cater to general needs and, in some cases, industry-specific purposes, but may not cover unique or specific situations. You are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and ensuring the Template meets your needs, and for your actions or inactions in using it. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified lawyer for advice specific to your situation.
3. No Lawyer-Client Relationship
3.1 Use of this Store or purchase of any product does not, under any circumstances, create a lawyer-client, solicitor-client, or any other professional relationship between you and LawReach or any director, officer, employee, or contractor associated with LawReach.
3.2 Communications with LawReach through this Store, by email, or by any other means are not protected by legal professional privilege.
3.3 Nothing on this Store or in any product constitutes the provision of legal services, legal advice, or the practice of law within the meaning of any legal profession legislation, legal practitioners act, or equivalent legislation in any Australian state or territory.
3.4 You must not represent to any third party that any product purchased from this Store constitutes legal advice or that LawReach has provided legal advice in connection with any matter.
4. Accounts
4.1 To purchase and download products from the Store, you may be required to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
• you are at least 18 years of age;
• you have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Australian law;
• if creating an account on behalf of a business or organisation, you have authority to bind that entity; and
• all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us at support@lawreach.com.au immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account.
4.3 An account on lawreach.com.au is entirely separate from any account on lawreach.ai. Holding an account on one platform does not create, grant access to, or have any effect on any account on the other platform.
4.4 Accounts on this Store are managed through Shopify Inc.'s platform. Shopify's own terms and privacy policy apply to account management as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Products, Orders, and Digital Product Delivery
5.1 All products sold on this Store are supplied digitally. No physical goods will be dispatched.
5.2 Product descriptions, images, and colours may differ due to device display settings. Any preview, sample, or description of a template shown on the Store is for illustrative purposes only and does not represent the complete contents of the document. You are responsible for reviewing any available preview and the product description carefully before purchasing. LawReach does not warrant that any product description is complete or error-free. LawReach may discontinue products or limit quantities at any time. Orders are offers to purchase and are accepted only when confirmed and payment is processed.
5.3 Upon receipt of full payment, you will be provided with access to download your purchased product. The product is considered delivered, and our obligations in respect of delivery are fulfilled, upon access being made available to you.
5.4 Purchases are for personal or business use only and are not for resale.
5.5 You acknowledge that:
• you are purchasing access to a standardised legal document template, not legal advice;
• this is a digital product and refunds are limited except as required by the Australian Consumer Law; and
• by completing payment, you agree to these Terms and our Refund Policy.
5.6 It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary software to open and use downloaded documents. We are not responsible for your inability to access documents due to software or system incompatibility.
5.7 If you experience a technical failure in accessing a purchased product, contact us promptly at support@lawreach.com.au with your order details. We will use reasonable endeavours to resolve documented technical access failures.
5.8 Template Version Policy. Purchases are of the version of the template available at the time of purchase. LawReach may update or release new versions of any template at any time. Purchase of a template does not entitle you to any future updated version. If you require the most current version of a template, you must purchase it separately.
5.9 Jurisdiction-Specific Disclaimer. Templates are drafted for general use under Australian law. Some templates may not meet the specific legislative or regulatory requirements of particular Australian states or territories, or of specific industries. LawReach does not warrant that any template complies with the laws of any particular state or territory. You are responsible for determining whether a template is appropriate for your jurisdiction and industry.
5.10 Digital Execution Disclaimer. LawReach does not warrant that any template is suitable for execution by electronic or digital signature, or that electronic execution will satisfy the execution requirements applicable to your specific document or jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any document is executed in the manner required by the applicable law, and for obtaining legal advice as to the appropriate method of execution if you are unsure.
5.11 Pricing Errors. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical, technical, or pricing error, LawReach reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any payment made, even where payment has already been processed.
5A. Prices, Billing, and Payments
5A.1 All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. We will provide a tax invoice for all taxable supplies.
5A.2 Payment methods include credit card, PayPal, or other approved gateways. You warrant that all payment information is accurate and that you are authorised to use the nominated payment method.
5A.3 Failure to make payment may result in revoked access to purchased products. Payment obligations must be met in full and on time.
5A.4 Downloaded products are granted under a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal and internal business use only. You may not share, modify, copy, or resell.
6. Refunds
6.1 Because all products are digital and access is provided immediately upon payment, LawReach does not offer refunds for change of mind, including where you:
• decide not to use the document after purchase;
• purchased the wrong document;
• found a cheaper or different alternative; or
• no longer require the document.
6.2 Nothing in this clause excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6.3 If a product is faulty, materially fails to match its description, or does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a remedy. To request a remedy, contact us at support@lawreach.com.au with your order number and a description of the issue.
6.4 Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability is limited, at our election, to resupplying the product or refunding the purchase price.
6.5 We reserve the right to refuse a refund claim that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, abusive, or unsupported by the facts.
6.6 Initiating a payment chargeback with your bank or card provider without first contacting LawReach may delay resolution and may result in suspension of your account pending investigation.
7. Licence to Use Documents: Scope and Restrictions
7.1 Upon purchase, LawReach grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the purchased document template for the internal purposes of a single legal entity (being you as an individual, or one specifically identified business entity on behalf of which you purchased) only. Each legal entity requires its own separate purchase. If you own or operate multiple businesses, companies, or entities, each entity that uses a template requires its own licence. A single purchase does not cover use by more than one legal entity, regardless of whether those entities are related, under common ownership, or controlled by the same individual.
7.2 "Internal purposes" means use within your own business operations only. The licence does not extend to:
• any related company, subsidiary, holding company, associated entity, franchise, or joint venture, unless expressly purchased for that entity;
• use on behalf of clients, customers, or third parties;
• distribution to employees beyond what is necessary for internal implementation; or
• any other entity, even within a corporate group.
7.3 You must not:
• resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise transfer any product to any third party;
• share, publish, upload, or make available any product on any platform, website, or shared drive accessible to third parties;
• use any product to create a competing product or service, including a template store or legal information resource;
• whitelabel, rebrand, or present any product as your own original work for commercial purposes;
• strip, remove, or alter any copyright notice, LawReach branding, or disclaimer in any product; or
• use any product in a way that misrepresents its nature or origin.
7.4 No Commercial Use. You may not modify, publish, transmit, transfer, create derivative works, distribute, display, reproduce, or otherwise exploit the Site, Content, or any Template without prior written consent from LawReach. Violating this may result in removal of access without refund.
7.5 You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in products remain with LawReach at all times. Purchase transfers no ownership rights. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from Templates or digital products.
7.6 If you modify a template, LawReach accepts no liability whatsoever for any modified version. You are solely responsible for the legal efficacy of any modified document. Modifications must not remove or alter any copyright notice or LawReach disclaimer.
8. Legal Document User Guide
8.1 Use of any LawReach document is subject to: (a) these Terms and Conditions; and (b) the LawReach Legal Document User Guide, as updated from time to time.
8.2 The Legal Document User Guide is incorporated by reference into these Terms and forms part of the binding agreement between you and LawReach. You should read the User Guide before using any purchased document.
8.3 The current version of the Legal Document User Guide is available here. We may update the User Guide from time to time. Updates do not affect the terms on which documents already purchased are licensed.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 The Site and all Online Services contain intellectual property owned by LawReach and third parties, including trade marks, copyrights, proprietary information, designs, patents, and other rights, as well as logos, text, videos, audio, graphics, files, and software ("Content"). All Content is owned by or licensed to LawReach and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
9.2 Your use of the Site or Content does not grant any rights, title, or interest in that Content. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use LawReach's trade marks, logos, or branding.
9.3 Unauthorised reproduction or distribution of any product constitutes copyright infringement and may give rise to civil liability and criminal penalties.
9A. Trade Marks and Brand Protection
9A.1 "LawReach", including all associated names, logos, branding elements, trade dress, domain names, and service identifiers (collectively, the "LawReach Marks") are proprietary assets of LawReach Pty Ltd and may be protected by registered or unregistered trade mark rights in Australia and other jurisdictions.
9A.2 Except with our prior written consent, you must not:
• use the LawReach Marks or any confusingly similar name, mark, or designation in connection with any business, product, or service;
• register or attempt to register any business name, company name, domain name, social media account, or identifier incorporating or similar to the LawReach Marks;
• represent or imply any affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or association with LawReach; or
• use the LawReach Marks in advertising, metadata, keywords, search engine optimisation, or promotional material.
9A.3 LawReach reserves all rights to enforce its intellectual property rights, including in relation to the LawReach Marks, all Site Content, and all Templates, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes LawReach's content posted on social media and other digital platforms operated by or on behalf of LawReach.
9B. Prohibited Automated Access and Data Use
9B.1 You must not, without prior written consent from LawReach:
• access, monitor, copy, scrape, harvest, or extract data or Content from the Site or any LawReach platform using automated means, bots, crawlers, scripts, artificial intelligence systems, or similar technologies;
• use any Content, Templates, materials, or data obtained from the Site for the purpose of training, developing, testing, or improving any machine learning model, artificial intelligence system, dataset, or automated decision-making technology;
• systematically download or store Content to create databases or competing products or services; or
• take or scrape content from the Site or any other LawReach platform for any commercial purpose.
9B.2 Any unauthorised use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.
9C. System Monitoring and Records
9C.1 LawReach may maintain records relating to access and use of the Site and Online Services, including account activity, download history, access timestamps, and technical usage data, for the purposes of: (a) security; (b) fraud prevention; (c) enforcement of intellectual property rights; and (d) resolving disputes.
9C.2 You acknowledge that such records may be relied upon as evidence in resolving disputes or enforcing these Terms.
10. Privacy
10.1 Your use of the Store is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of the binding agreement between you and LawReach. The Privacy Policy is available at lawreach.com.au/policies/privacy-policy.
10.2 By using the Store, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
11. Feedback and Reviews
11.1 You grant LawReach a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, publish, and display any feedback, reviews, or submissions you provide.
11.2 Feedback and reviews must not violate third-party rights or contain unlawful, offensive, or harmful content.
11.3 LawReach may remove any feedback or content that violates these rules, at its sole discretion.
11.4 Testimonials may be used for promotional purposes at LawReach's discretion.
12. Discounts
12.1 Only one discount code may be applied per purchase. Discount codes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
13. Competitors
13.1 You must not access, use, download, copy, or otherwise exploit any Content, documents, Templates, or materials on this Site for the purpose of competing with LawReach or for any commercial purpose that competes with our business.
13.2 LawReach reserves the right, in its discretion, to refuse or restrict access to the Site or its content to any person or entity where we reasonably believe they are a competitor or are using the Site for competitive purposes.
14. Australian Consumer Law
14.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14.2 Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability in connection with a product is limited, at our election, to:
• resupplying the product; or
• paying the cost of having the product resupplied.
14.3 For the avoidance of doubt, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law may be excluded or limited for goods or services acquired for the purposes of a business where the value of the supply exceeds the threshold set out in section 64A of the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Warranties and Disclaimers
15.1 This Site and our Online Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LawReach makes no representations, guarantees, or warranties of any kind regarding the Site or the Online Services, including that:
• they will be suitable, reliable, complete, secure, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose;
• access will be free from harmful components, such as viruses or other code that could cause harm; or
• there is no risk of failure to store communications or other data.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawReach and its affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services. This includes, without limitation:
• lost profits, business interruption, or other financial loss;
• loss of data or use, including that caused by viruses or other harmful code;
• loss of income or projected profits;
• damage to property;
• claims by third parties; or
• any other losses or expenses of any kind arising from or in connection with your use of the Site or Online Services, your inability to access the Site, interruptions or outages, or inaccuracies, incompleteness, or outdated content.
16.2 Our liability for any breach of a condition or warranty under these Terms is limited to the extent allowed by law, including as provided under the Australian Consumer Law.
16.3 Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the relevant product.
17. Indemnification
17.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless LawReach, Shopify, and our related entities, affiliates, and their respective officers, agents, and employees from and against any loss, liability, claim, demand, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees on a full indemnity basis) arising out of or in connection with:
• your use of this Site or our Online Services;
• your purchase or use of our Templates;
• your breach of these Terms, including any representations or warranties made by you;
• your breach of any applicable law; or
• any claim by a third party arising from your actions or omissions.
18. Termination
18.1 LawReach may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any Online Services at its discretion, including for breach of these Terms.
18.2 Upon termination, the following clauses survive: Intellectual Property, Trade Marks and Brand Protection, Prohibited Automated Access and Data Use, Feedback, Warranties and Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Privacy.
19. Ceasing the Website
19.1 LawReach may discontinue the Site at any time without notice and may exclude any person at its discretion.
19.2 LawReach reserves the right to modify, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue any Online Services, Templates, or Site functionality at any time, including after purchase, where reasonably necessary for business, legal, technical, or security reasons. Nothing in these Terms guarantees ongoing availability of any specific Online Service or version of a Template.
20. Dispute Resolution
20.1 If you have a complaint or dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a product, you must first contact us at support@lawreach.com.au with full details of the complaint.
20.2 We will acknowledge receipt within 7 business days and aim to resolve the complaint within 15 business days.
20.3 If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of your initial complaint, either party may escalate to mediation before commencing legal proceedings. The parties will agree on a mediator, or if they cannot agree, one will be appointed by the Resolution Institute.
20.4 Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or interlocutory relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
21.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
21.2 The Site is accessible within Australia and internationally. LawReach makes no representation that the content of this Site complies with the laws of any jurisdiction outside Australia. If you access the Site from outside Australia, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with the laws of the jurisdiction from which you access the Site.
21.3 The Site and Online Services are intended primarily for users located in Australia.
21.4 Subject to clause 20, each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
22. Assignment
22.1 You must not assign, novate, or otherwise transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
22.2 We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to any related body corporate or to a successor entity in connection with a sale, merger, acquisition, or change of control of LawReach Pty Ltd, without your consent.
23. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
23.1 These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LawReach with respect to your use of the Store and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
Severability
23.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
Waiver
23.3 A failure by LawReach to exercise any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. No waiver is effective unless in writing. A waiver on one occasion does not operate as a waiver on any future occasion.
Cross-Platform Consistency
23.4 LawReach Pty Ltd operates both lawreach.com.au and lawreach.ai. These Terms and the LawReach AI Terms and Conditions are intended to be read consistently with one another. In the event of any conflict, the terms specific to the relevant platform will prevail.
No Third-Party Rights
23.5 These Terms do not confer any rights on any third party.
Reservation of Rights
23.6 All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by LawReach. Failure by LawReach to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of its rights.
24. Force Majeure
24.1 LawReach will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, government action, failure of third-party infrastructure, cyberattack, or power failure.
25. Changes to These Terms

27. Third-Party Websites
27.1 The Store may contain links to third-party websites. We do not operate or control those websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Use of third-party websites is at your own risk.
28. Relationship with LawReach AI

28.2 An account created on lawreach.com.au does not create an account on lawreach.ai, and vice versa. Purchases made on lawreach.com.au do not grant access to lawreach.ai, and a subscription to lawreach.ai does not include access to templates sold on lawreach.com.au.
